The Little Beer Company UK acts as a facilitation agent for this site and will direct your order to its subsidiary located in the country of destination of the goods. The appropriate local VAT rate and duties will be accounted for by the subsidiary in respect of the goods ordered.

- In all circumstances we will always get what you have ordered, to you. Delays do happen and if that delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, fire, flood, storm or Act of God, failure of ISP or telecommunications provider in connection with the fulfilment of purchases then we are not liable.
- The little beer company may change or add to these terms and conditions for security, legal or regulatory reasons. We will not use this right to vary the terms of any special offer that applies to you.
- We will withdraw or replace products or services on a regular basis to offer choice and variation to our product range.
- It is our policy to ensure that all our goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold.
- Whilst every effort is made to supply all items listed on the little beer company website, there are instances where this may not be possible. In these cases we shall substitute a similar item to the same or greater value, and, where reasonable, we shall contact you to discuss any supply problems. You are within your rights to decline any substitutes offered.
- In accepting these terms and conditions, if you are purchasing alcohol, you are confirming that you are over the age of eighteen (or the stipulated age in the country of purchase) and legally allowed to purchase alcoholic drinks.
- We aim to ensure that the prices shown on our website are correct. In the event an error does occur, we will make every effort to contact you to confirm if you would like to proceed with the order at the correct price.
- We may terminate, change or suspend any part of this site, including any content, features or availability, at any time and at our discretion.
- We may change any part of these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to check if changes have been made. Your continued use of this site after any such changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of the changes to these terms. Major changes in our operation we will post on the home page.

- The Little Beer Company assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any links to the Internet or other third party websites from its website. Once you activate these links you will leave this website and the little beer company will not be responsible, or liable, for the content of any other website on the Internet to which you may visit from its site. However if a link from our site is offensive or is not connecting properly please contact us and we will rectify.

- Your signature and printed name (or an agreed substitute) at the point of delivery acknowledges receipt of the goods. Please ensure that you (or a suitable representative) are available to receive your goods on the day of delivery.
- The prices shown for goods on the site don't include delivery these are shown separately. Delivery charges are based on orders to the local area only,. Orders placed from areas outside the local area may be required to pay an additional fee. In this instance we will inform you prior to shipping the order.
- Please ensure any special delivery instructions are entered into the appropriate field on the checkout page. Failure to do so will hold up your delivery.
- We do not send orders without a FULL VALID POSTAL CODE. We cannot accept responsibility for failure of an order to arrive if you provide an incorrect address or postal code.
- Our couriers generally do not leave deliveries at the specified address without collecting a signature. If you choose to include delivery instructions requesting that a delivery be left at your address if you are not present, we can include these instructions on your parcel. However, we are unable to guarantee these will be carried out. Should your instructions be followed and the delivery goes missing, we cannot accept any responsibility for your loss.
- If you choose to place your order over the 'phone, we cannot be held responsible for any mistakes in noting down your address and details. Please be aware that ordering over the telephone or by any other means will not bypass our Internet ordering system. We will simply enter the details onto our website ordering system for you.
- We try very hard to dispatch orders on or before the date we estimate during the checkout process, but we cannot guarantee delivery on a particular date. We are only able to offer the wide range we do because we operate a "Just in Time" system on many products and rely on our suppliers to deliver items to us correctly within the estimated time after you have placed the order.
- In the event that your order is damaged in transit, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Products received by courier should be checked before being signed for. We may not be able to offer a refund if you fail to do this.
- All prices are quoted in euros and are per case, as marked. The prices include VAT/ IVA (Value Added Tax at the current local rate) unless otherwise specified. Delivery charges are shown separately.
- We accept payment by Switch, Maestro, Visa and MasterCard.
Returns, Breakages, Non-Delivery, Refunds & Cancellations
- Although we hope you will be pleased with your order, there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an order. We endeavour to keep this process as simple as possible. We accept returns and give refunds where the goods have not been opened or damaged. Shipping costs back to us are normally at your expense (except where the goods do not comply with statutory requirements) and we can only credit you upon safe receipt and inspection of the goods into our warehouse. All refunds will be paid as soon as possible within 30 days of you contacting us, provided our courier has picked up the beer. If bottles are broken or damaged in transit to you, the damaged goods must be checked and returned to to the driver making the delivery. Shipping costs for the damaged portion of the delivery back to us is at our expense - customers must contact us to arrange the return shipping. The Little Beer Company can only credit customers for the items that have been damaged upon safe receipt of the products into our hands.
- Upon receipt of your order, you should carefully inspect it to make sure that it is intact and in full. The courier must be informed of breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. We will not accept any claims for breakages or shortages unless they are stated on the courier's documentation. We must have confirmation of these breakages or shortages within 7 days of the delivery.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that an adult over the age of 18 is at the delivery address to sign for receipt of the goods. In the event of no one is available to sign for the goods, our couriers will leave a card advising that the delivery has been unsuccessful. The card will describe the steps you need to take to arrange for the goods to be re-delivered. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to sign for the goods upon re-delivery. The re-delivery process can be undertaken twice only, after which our couriers are instructed to return the goods to us. When this happens, please contact us to arrange a new shipment. This new delivery arrangement will, however, incur a further delivery charge.
- It is not our normal policy to accept returns or to agree to give full refunds for no apparent reason. In the rare and exceptional circumstances we do so agree, it will be entirely at our own discretion, and must include return of products that have not been opened or damaged.
- We shall not be liable to pay any compensation to you, other than any refund as provided above. In particular, but without limitation, we shall not be liable to you for loss of profit, damage to goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any damage, defect, negligence or other failing on our part, unless (a) you have expressly made us aware in writing of the nature and extend of the loss or damage which you may suffer in such situation, and (b) we have expressly confirmed in writing that we accept liability for such matters.
- We won't sell alcohol to anyone who isn't 18 years old or the correct age in the country of delivery. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
- If you are buying alcohol as a gift – you and the recipient must also be eligible to buy alcohol in the country of delivery.
- If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the alcohol is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately our couriers will be unable to leave the alcohol.
- The Little Beer Company conforms to the UK Data Protection Act 1998.
- When you place an order, we need to obtain: your name (and delivery name if different), email address, billing address (and delivery address if different), contact 'phone number, credit card number and expiry date (Switch cards also require an issue number and security number). This information enables us to accurately process and fulfil your order, and to confirm your order by email. We will record which products you are interested in and which products you purchase.
- We monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop further the website.
- All copyright, database rights, trademarks (including The Little Beer Company its logos and marks) and any other intellectual property rights in and to the content on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, banners, images, buttons, underlying source code, and software, is the sole property, or being used under agreement or licence of The Little Beer Company, or the applicable licensor. Any use (including copying, reproduction, duplication, transmission, or display of the content of this website, without the express written permission of The Little Beer Company) for purposes other than the viewing of information or for ordering purposes, is strictly prohibited.
- Permission is granted to electronically copy, and to print in hard copy, portions of this website for the sole purpose of placing an order with The Little Beer Company or using this website as a shopping resource.
